Game Day 2/15/2013

I hope everyone had a fantastic Valentine's Day, but you know what time of the week it is. We finally got a split! It had been like forever since we last did that (Nov. 30th & Dec. 1st vs. St. Cloud State). Tonight is Parent's Night, there are 1,000 bag tags (whatever those are) for the early comers, and the Family Four Pack is again available this weekend.

Family is still the Promo Code

Also, this is the last full home weekend for the departing seniors:

Chris Crowell (Captain)
Tyler Currier (Instigator...in a good way)
Alex Gellert (Stud)
Daniel Naslund (Swede...everybody loves the Swedish...well their women at least)
Scott Warner (STUD D-Man and Assistant Captain)

When these guys leave, they will leave some holes in our depth chart and locker room. Let's give them a proper send off, well you guys can, I have to go help out a friend tonight.

Click here for the link for the guys that are Scholar-Athletes, congratulations guys.

Round-Up's

Things to look out for
• UNO split with MTU then just got swept by North Dakota
• Junior Matt Bailey has totals of 1-2-3 in 5 GP against UNO
• Junior Jordan Kwas has five Power Play goals, nobody else has more than one this season
• He also needs only one more goal for ten on the season
• Sophomore Kory Roy has yet to register his first collegiate goal, 0-9-9 in 48 GP
• Needs to see action in both games this weekend to appear in 50 career GP

  1. I think "Bag Tags" are luggage tags.

Hopefully the guys are pumped for this series, and hopefully that yough group shows up again!!

Everyone bring a friend or two.

  2. Well, the game started out good. Great atmosphere once again! You know, it certainly appears that one or two seniors have thrown in the towel ... and the freshmen are still really giving it their all. YOU know who you are! You are not being fair to your teammates, let's see some upperclassmen leadership tomorrow night, eh?

  3. Nice offense Shyiak…how many shots on goal last night?
One of these nights we aren't even going to break double digits.
Our guys deserve better and that's the bottom line.
